AES 15 : Projects & Talkshow

Doing projects every semester is not something new at Smipa. For the first semester of K11, we are assigned a project which is “Proyek Mandiri”. Basically Proyek Mandiri is a project that supports our passion, for instance my passion is things to do with wheels and engines. This project is quite similar to the project that we did in 7th grade, so the students that have been in Semi Palar for a long time should be familiar with this kind of project. After brainstorming ideas, thinking, seeing references and most importantly talking to my mentor, I have found the perfect project that I want to do. Which is “The Astrea Project”.

It's called “The Astrea Project” because the main character of this project is my dad's old motorcycle which was a 1990 Astrea Prima. So for this project I chose to do a full restoration on this bike. I saw an opportunity to do this project not only because it’s my passion but also because I want to share my experience on working on this motorcycle to other people, and I hope that by sharing, people could receive new insights. 

Since this semester is about to end, that means it's about time we open our last checkpoint which is “Workshop”. So I'm inviting you guys to my talkshow about the project that I have been working on this semester. Thank you and See you there!
