AES 37: It Feels Like Home

In the morning, I entered the SMP area with a nervous feeling because today was the day we had all been waiting for—the day of the ceremony. I was assigned to the front row of the choir. My heart was pounding because I was worried that our singing tempo might be too fast compared to the background music. However, I remained confident and tried to stay focused. It was time for the ceremony—wish me luck!

The ceremony went very smoothly. I think, as a part of the choir team, we did a pretty good job. After all the hard work and practices we went through, it was all worth it.

Then it was time to participate in the 17th of August competitions. I signed up for the makan kerupuk contest and tarik tambang, but Kak Bayu entered me into the drawing competition because they were short on participants. I didn't sign up for that in the first place, but because I was curious I finally agreed on doing it. That day, there were so many competitive people, and Smipa was filled with whispers of strategies to win the competitions.

At that moment, I realized that the chemistry between everyone was really strong. Everyone was cheering, happy, and enjoying the moment. The last time I felt this kind of atmosphere was during the Musik Sore last June. Suddenly, I realized—this is the true Smipa. The Smipa that people wouldn’t know unless they fully participated. The warm, cozy, and comfortable Smipa that I used to know. The Smipa has a flow which not all schools have, the flow that makes the students, teachers, parents, everyone feel like home. I'm proud to say that I'm a student from Semi Palar and I'm proud to say that this 17an went super well!!!

He embodies many things that I deeply admire: unwavering commitment to peace, justice, and ethical diplomacy. He showed that leadership is not just about…

AES 47: 7 minutes

They say that after death, the human brain lives for seven minutes. Seven minutes where time bends and stretches, just enough time to replay our best memories. The moments that made us feel most alive. The laughs, the hugs, the late-night talks, the quiet peace of being with someone who just gets y…
