AES 9 : Self (Diri)
The self is an individual as the object of that individual’s own reflective consciousness. Sometimes describing myself is one of the toughest things to do, but it's also fascinating too. I believe that our traits - positive and negative - is what makes us the person we are to the world. When it comes to my personality, people can have different opinions because they see what they want to see in me, and that’s okay. I would describe myself as a carefree but also compassionate person. I am an enthusiast and a person full of curiosity. Curious to know what life is all about and what holds in the future.
I believe my life is an art, and I am the artist. The decisions I make really affect my path to where I am going next. I try to keep it full of colors and as happy as possible, no matter what life throws at me. But sometimes keeping everything happy is a hard thing to do, it is very tiring. It drains our energy pretty quickly, so sometimes my social battery is very low but I still try to talk to people as if everything is fine.
I like to keep a smile on my face no matter what I am going through, and that smile keeps me going. People think I am an extrovert but actually my mbti is INFP. I was also shocked when I saw the results. I also think that I am an extrovert, at first I couldn't believe it. But as time went by, I started to see the introverted me.
Sometimes I like to tell myself that it’s okay not to be okay. I myself like to feel denial about my own feelings. I was once in a position where I couldn't accept that I was feeling sad/mad. I get very irritated internally, but that doesn’t show in my behavior. However, I would like to change this character trait. Because my friends and family often do not notice that I have some troubles. So when I needed help, they couldn’t notice anything and sometimes it’s hard for me to open up to someone, except if that someone asks me first. That’s all for this session of Atomic Essay and maybe this is my last one this semester.

Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary-General, once said, "To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for." They say that after death, the human brain lives for seven minutes. Seven minutes where time bends and stretches, just enough time to replay our best memories.
