AES261 A Man Must Know His Destiny

Ricopenulis arsip2

A man must know his destiny.

If he does not recognize it, then he is lost.

By this I mean, once, twice, or at the very most, three times…

Fate will reach out and tap a man on the shoulder

If he has the imagination, he will turn around and fate will point out to him what fork in the road he should take.

If he has the guts, he will take it.

-George S. Patton-

Sometimes in life, there’s these little moments that feel like destiny, where all the stars line up perfectly at the correct moment and you feel like you’re exactly where you need to be. In moments where you are lost, unsure of what to do, there can also be these little nudges showing you where to go next, to not give up and keep going. I don’t know if I believe in destiny, but there are moments where it’s hard not to believe, because how else could I have met that person? Or went on that journey, or had that amazing experience that only happened because of some very specific scenarios of the right place at the right time. I have an idea in my head of the person I need to become, and my job now is to make sure I get to that point, by following the path that lays in front of me, going through the doors that have been opened. I’m sure that if I keep moving forward and listen to fate’s whispers, I’ll one day become the person that I‘m meant  to be.

AES221 A Worthy Crisis

What would have become of Hercules if there had been no lion, hydra, stag or boar, and no savage criminals to rid the world of? What would he have done in the absence of such challenges? Obviously he would have just rolled over in bed and gone back to sleep. So by snoring his life away in luxury an…
