AES17 Cleaning is Actually Fun

In the last 3 years, I have learned to love cleaning. I hated cleaning, now I love it. I think the pandemic really affected my habits and one of them is cleaning. Because I have to do school from home I needed a clean and comfortable place. It left me with no choice, I had to clean. I feel like the hard part when you want to clean is picking up all of the energy that you need to clean. So the key is really to just start. 

I personally always listen to music or a podcast while I clean, it really helps me to enjoy cleaning. And of course, I sing along to the songs I play, it just makes cleaning so much better. I have made cleaning a daily routine, especially cleaning my bed. In 9th grade, I was just crazy busy and I didn't clean my bed in the morning. My desk is right on the side of my bed, and every time I looked at my bed I felt so guilty. Not cleaning my bed makes me feel like Im not ready to do anything. 

Now I mean Kpb is more flexible so I can leave for 5 minutes to do my bed, without worrying that I’ll miss something in class. Well, Im still working on learning to wake up early because I have a really hard time relaxing and sometimes I have a hard time trying to sleep. 

Other than cleaning my bed I also always clean my desk and my floor. Because I can't work in a messy workspace, I just can't. So I always make sure to leave it in a clean and tidy condition, so the next time I need to use my desk I will feel more motivated.

Last but not least I always clean my bookshelf every 1-2 weeks. And I love cleaning my bookshelf because I get to clean and look at my books and kinda re-live the experience of me reading those books. My bookshelf is definitely my favorite section in my room. On top of my bookshelf, I have my harry potter collection, and on the wall, I have some Taylor Swift photo cards. And I put the photo cards with some little pins, and I feel like that small detail is just so cute.
