AES29 My Top 5 Artists on Spotify

So because I have no idea what to write about, so Im going to be explaining my Top 5 Artists according to Spotify. Because well why not. 

1. Taylor Swift

I love Taylor, I think she is just amazing. I love almost all of her albums. I think I grew up listening to her album fearless, speak now, red, and 1989 so Taylor has always been close to my heart. Back then I would always hear shake it off on the radio, but I never heard her new album lover, folklore, or evermore on the radio, which is kinda sad. I love how Taylor has matured, folklore and evermore Taylor is just amazing. And I know she’s in a good and healthy relationship with her boyfriend but she still can make amazing breakup songs. I can’t wait for RED (Taylor’s version) on November 19th. 

2. Harry Styles 

Harry is amazing he has songs that I can cry to and songs that I can dance to. His songs really get me emotional, for example, fine line really hits the spot. When I feel sad I listen to fine line and he said “we’ll be alright” and it really gives me so much comfort. Other than his music I think harry is just amazing as a person, he’s so kind, and he’s a feminist. I don’t find many men that are proud to be feminists but Harry is one of a kind. I also love his fashion, he’s breaking gender norms and that is such a brave and amazing thing to do. 

3. Olivia Rodrigo 

Olivia is just so young and so inspiring, her album sour is amazing. I feel like because both Olivia and I are gen z so I can really relate to her songs. For example, her song is brutal and jealousy, jealousy. I really understand the message that she’s trying to share and It kinda feels like this song is made for me because of how relatable it is. Sour being her first album, and driver’s license being a huge hit is such an amazing achievement for an 18-year-old. And Im so proud of her, she totally deserves it. 

4. Ariana Grande 

I mean I think everyone needs to have one Ariana Grande song that they like because she is beyond iconic. She always has the best music videos also. I had a phase where I was in love with her album thank u, next. It was so brave of her to actually mention her ex’s real name, and she made it such a positive song. She also writes many songs about women empowerment, like “God is a woman”. Ariana also makes amazing both sad and like beat up happy songs, and I can’t name one of her songs that I hate, I can’t hate her songs. 

5. Doja Cat

I feel like her songs are very mature, but I like them. I mean I feel so powered as a woman listening to her songs. Her songs are famous on TikTok because her songs just make you want to get up and dance. When I was like 13 I didn’t like Doja, but I guess because Im more mature and I get what her songs actually mean I can enjoy it more.
